Dr. Pamela Lyon has recently been designated as a Fellow of the Obesity Medicine Association (OMA)! Becoming a Fellow of the OMA is one of the highest honors reserved for those who demonstrate dedication and commitment to the clinical treatment of obesity and obesity-related diseases.
Dr. Lyon met a list of criteria to become a Fellow of the OMA. She has been a member of the Association for 11 years and has received extensive education focused on treating obesity in a clinical setting. She has also worked to advance the practice of obesity medicine by serving on the OMA's Advocacy committee.
Dr. Lyon is grateful to receive this honor as it allows her to stand out as someone who is passionate about the field and who continues to seek new ways to treat obesity using evidence-based clinical approaches. Congratulations to her on this well-deserved honor!
